Kitchener author and poet Tomi A. reads his personal essay "The Bitterness on Your Tongue" from Textile Magazine's second issue, Space(s).
A collaboration between Midtown Radio and Textile Magazine, Waterloo Region's premiere literary publication. The "Textile x Midtown" projects features exciting local authors, poets, and artists of colour reading the work they've published in in current or past issues of Textile Magazine. In this clip, Kitchener author Tomi A. reads his personal essay "The Bitterness On Your Tongue" which was written as a response to the Black Lives Matter protests of June 2020. "The Bitterness on Your Tongue" was published in Textile's second issue "Space(s)", released in spring 2021.
