Waterloo Region poet Nitica Sakharwade reads her poem "Did You?" from Textile Magazine's second issue, Space(s).
A collaboration between Midtown Radio and Textile Magazine, Waterloo Region's premiere literary publication. The "Textile x Midtown" projects features exciting local authors, poets, and artists of colour reading the work they've published in in current or past issues of Textile Magazine. In this clip, Waterloo Region poet Nitica Sakharwade reads her poem "Did You?", a contrapuntal poem which asks whether you're savouring the beauty and joy of each moment. "Did You?" was published in Textile's second issue "Space(s)", released in spring 2021.
