Nitica Sakharwade reads "Aaji" from issue 2: Space(s)
Waterloo Region poet Nitica Sakharwade reads her poem "Aaji" from Textile Magazine's second issue Space(s).
A collaboration between Midtown Radio and Textile Magazine, Waterloo Region's premiere literary publication. The "Textile x Midtown" projects features exciting local authors, poets, and artists of colour reading the work they've published in in current or past issues of Textile Magazine. In this clip, Waterloo Region poet Nitica Sakharwade reads her poem "Aaji" which was written as a way of coming to terms with the loss of her grandmother. "Aaji" was published in Textile's second issue "Space(s)", released in spring 2021.
